Project Drakonis

Creating a language is no simple task -- and teaching one is even harder. I don't claim to be a linguistic expert, but this has been a passionate side project born from a desire to expand the lore of this cosmos in a creative, meaningful way. The Drakonis language is presented in five parts: structure, roots, vocabulary, syllabary, and, because I couldn't resist making things interesting, a base-9 numerical system. For grammar and syntax, I've kept things simple by mirroring English rules. Words are built from roots, with prefixes and suffixes added to maintain variety, logic, and a structure that still feels natural.

Structure

This section contains information on how the language is structured and built.

Roots

This section contains a root word wizard for which the vocabulary is built. When forming new words, these roots and styles should be used.

Vocabulary

This section contains a list words, their translation, meaning, and the roots used to form it.

Syllabary

This section includes the script for writing in drakonis.

Numerical and Mathematical System

This section includes information on the drakonis Base-9 numerical system, its numbers, and the words used for representing mathematical terms.
